The proceedings of the 9th CPRLatam Conference 2015 held in Cancun July 13th and 14th has been published at Amazon.com
The book was edited by the conference chair, Judith Mariscal, and the associate editors who participated in the organizing committee as Hernán Galperín, Marcio Iorio, Raul Katz and Roxana Barrantes.
In this issue we managed to put together a number of original articles and we are delighted to include articles on instigating topics such as discrimination in online contracting, socio-economic impact of alternative spectrum assignment, ICT variables for development, digital gap and mobility, wireless industry's disintegration, call externality estimation, impact of broadband deployment, smart cities, civil virtue in social networks, economic value in rural communities, open access policy, institutional impact of digitization, infrastructure sharing, and e-democracy. The selected articles addressed mostly the Americas Region experience, following the goal of CPRLatam network of advancing knowledge on the social, economic and political impact of ICT in the Americas.
