Young Researchers Competition

From its inauguration, there has been enthusiastic participation in DIRSI’s Young Researcher Competition. A call for project proposals on key DIRSI research themes is published and three selected projects are given financial support, mentoring, peer review, and coaching on how to submit the final reports to journals.

The Young Researchers’ Working Papers’ series will be posted on the website and the series will be widely promoted. In the past competition winners have gone on to become full participants in the DIRSI network and submitted their final reports to conferences, journals and DIRSI events.

Two competitions will be held in the current cycle, each supporting the work of three young researchers.
